ive been doing alot of research on rb heating issues, and am beginning to think mine is overheating and cant figure out why, but at the same time i dont think its overheating. the guy i bought it from said he may have left the ka temp sensor in but wasn't sure so i swapped clusters and yup sure enought it was still reading hot, only this was after it had been running for maybe 2 minutes. so it definatly wasnt overheating. my cooling setup is a godspeed radiator with fal220 pushers, new thermostat, and new waterpump. when running the car it doesnt appear to be overheating though. i just bought an aftermarket temp gauge as well, had to order the greddy hose adapter thing so i wont get it for a few days. but i guess im looking for a little reassurance. probably going to be doing a compression check shortly also, anything else i should check for?

What?

You swapped gauges? You need to run the sensor that matches the gauge.

he said he cant remember what temp sensor he put in there, the ka or the rb, and the rb cluster reads fine for about 10 minutes then it starts to climb to the H. so i swapped to the ka cluster to see if it would still read hot and sure enough it did.
