I have a traxxas slash with a VXL-3s brushless in it. This video is from the first time running a 3s lipo. This thing is torquey(?) as ****. If you lay into you can not control it. I am going to get another video of a good fly by. I couldnt do much yesterday cause my blackberry died right after this video. I love my rc truck

Wow! RC cars sure have gotten awesome over the years. I bought a Losi XX back in 7th or 8th grade (i'm 27 now) and put in some stock motor (not enough $ for modified electronics) and I thought it was fast. That truck is easily twice as fast as my old car.

Is there a way to adjust your battery placement a tad more forward? What about raising the ride height in the back or getting stiffer rear springs?

BTW, when I was into RC cars, 1700mah packs were coming out and then later 2000mah when I stopped playing with my car. A 1400 came with my car and I bought a 1500 because I couldn't afford the $60-75 1700mah matched packs (6cell).

That was for sh**s and giggles. I want be doing that often. I ate a set of tires in about an hour. Tires=$40 for 4. Theres a lot of things that I could do to make it not pop a wheelie but it will negatively effect short track performance

I usually run a 3200mah 2s 35c lipo

Make it all-wheel-drive! But seriously, that thing is crazy quick. Probably has more torque than my car.

there are 4wd slash's, I dont want one though because they run in a class of their own. All of the guys are fast as balls around the track

Your buddy seems kinda slow. Not very good at holding a camera either.

Why so much for that? I take it you purchased the charger at a hobby shop?

You could have picked up a Tenergy for ~$50 that could support up 18V packs :)

I find it humorous when Nitro enthusiasts try to talk about their cars being fast... :chuckle:

Bossy friend is bossy.

"Run, run!" Have you seen the physique? Clearly the man is not a runner.

"No, no, not like that."
