So if I take off my valve cover, the 2 upper Timing chain guides are right there?

I'm prolly paintin the valve cover this weekend and putting a new seal/gasket on, while I'm at it I was going to remove the 2 upper timing chain guides.

From what I read in the archives it appears they are right there in front when you take off the valve cover...correct? i know theres a lower one but i'm not doing that one yet.

I believe you have to remove the upper front cover to remove the 2 upper chain guide. You'll find out really quick when you pull the valve cover. The upper front cover is not hard to remove though.
