headed up to the dyno tonight around 5pm, we went to dyno tune a 93 cobra we just turbod it made some impressive numbers then blew a rad hose... bought the dyno guys dinner and they let me throw my car up there for a couple baseline pulls...

mods so farstock injectorsKa24e MafCp pistons264 cams tomei valve springslog manifoldEvo III big16G custom open dump 2.5" 02housing 1.5" dump tube. 3" exhaust no cat or test pipe.walbro 255 not hardwired (will be doin so ASAP)

this computer is acting up so ill post the videos and dyno sheets later...

but give me some of your guess's of what i made power wise!!! blitz SDC-id boost controller (not hooked up correctly tonight ) so i couldnt dial in boost like i wanted too... 13.6psi, and a 14.1psi run, i also have a nasty leak between the manifold and head so i think im loosing some spool up time .

well i decided to just post them up... i think we could have squeezed a little more power out of it goin to 7500-8000RPM. also once i fix my boost controller and wastegate acutator i might beable to get some better response from it ,maybe a few ponys also...

note these runs are with no tuning, no control over fuel at all. stock ECU,stock injectors, and Ka24e MAF.

if i dont end up w/ a ca when i get to jp ill sell u my regrinds for cheap float

NICE NUMBERs bro especially w/ no tuning...man...i cant imagine what it'll be w/ some timing, a little more boost etc...and the cars not even close to runnin lean w/ all that boost...wish i had a chance to install my cams and get a dyno run w/ the t28..oh well

btw wasnt everyone sayin that 250 was the limit of stock injectors and the kae maf...but yet u say u had no problems and the afr's looked good...NICE

BACK ON TOPIC: JON! Will you post these up in the "dyno" sticky? I want copies up there and I want you to get credit for them as well. If you do I'll give you something nice...

yes this was wheel horsepower.

i will be writing a chip in the afternoon tomrrow to test out my old computer, which was bad to begin its why my car wouldnt run right and my timming was offf like 30degs. had it repaired hopefully it works, and i can get the 550s in it and begin getting some bigger HP numbers!!! we are shooting for 350-380 maybe just maybe 400hp with the turbo.

Crad what are the DSM guys seeing out of this thing at 24-26psi???

yeah we were all thinking that was the limit. down at the shop we have been wanting to see where the stock fuel and ka maf will max at, but we couldnt get the boost dialed in correctly on the dyno.

i have yet to hit a fuel cut with the new setup even at 16or so psi this morning with it being 50degs outside.

will running the injectors above a certain duty cycle trigger fuel cut??or is it dependant on Maf readings underload? or a combo of both??

Now the fun part is goin to start, we have to learn how to tune this thing properly and its looking like it might be pretty time consuming we are probably going to rent out the dyno for a day once we get some base tunes worked out. .

we still havnt found a way to datalog the ECU if anyone has any info on how to please let me know!!
