so I went to a car show

and won an award. I went to a car show hosted by our state's radio station - k104.7. Yes I entered the QX4, in the show and the sound competition. I won a trophy for 3rd place in loudest system hitting 136.7DB. Pretty good for 2 12" subs. I left around 9:30 AM, got there around 10:30 and left at 6. There were no clouds and it was 105 degrees. Boy was that a fun day . Luckily there was a mall.

M3 Dinan. Very rare. I hung out with the owner (in his mid 40's) most of the time. Very nice guy. He had a pathfinder so we talked about that for a bit. He really liked my car, since its in very good condition. Someone offered $15,000 for my car. No joke. IDK why.

I'm getting so sick of reading articles (both online and in print) that talk about how the new Sonata is a breath of fresh air after the boring-looking last-gen. I'll take boring over holy-s***-my-eyes-self-destructed Fugly any day. Oh, and the last-gen had a V6 option. The '04+ Sonata is better looking than its contemporary Accords or Camrys.

at the show down here yesterday i had NICO cards all over mine too, so dont feel bad. there were barely any nissans there though. there were a TON of infinitis and were all from the national G club.
