ok, so i was just curious, so i warm up the car to 120 F, and turn the thing on the ECU to see if i had ne code on my car. it flash 1, 2, 3,4,5 both red, and green @ the same time. what is that??does ne body know??

there are 5 different test modes that you check everyone of them does something specific and 4 and 5 are mostly for idle problem

warm the car, drive it for 10 minturn the screw clock wiselet the led's flash ONLY 3 times and turn counterclockwise immidiatlystart decodding!

yeah, when they flash three times in a row then you turn the screw back.

ok, so what does 1-5 test for?? where do i go to check for what the code is for??

ok, so code pulled.... and u guess it! 34!! the famous Knock sensor..so what now.?i guess it's multi meter time. that explain why my car don't idle when cold...but it boost fine @ 8psi.. so i guess no more boost for me til his isfix!!, parking the car in garage now...

dude, you are the knock sensor master of the universe. its rediculous. but i guess after the trouble it gave you theres no way you couldnt know that...

well the knock sensor is kinda tucked away along with its plug and everyone said the sr swap guides are all that were needed. i dunno

WOW!!! yeah i cut all the crap and went in to hot wireing the Knock sensor. It's differrent car now, a lot more lowend No stumble, well worth it. To all of u guys out there with CA18DET.after the swap make sure to check ur Ecu.and if u get Code 34, wire it up! it's the 3rd line to the left from the center of the ECU plug, white wire. location of the Knock sensor is right under the intake manifold, on top of the Oil filter. ( sorry for the long bla bla, when i search I didn't have this info, just trying to make the next guys with this problem life a lil easier. C
