fan straight up came off the fan clutch. did the 4 bolts that attatch the fan to the clutch come out or what cuz i have no idea why this happened.

the fan itself is replacable. it had four bolts that attached it to the clutch.

you don't want to just do electric fans?? The clutch fan robs the motor of a couple HP.

HMMM...that fan clutch in my opinion looks newish. i dont think the bolts were properly tightened and it prolly just wiggled loose.

^^but a factory shroud and fan will cool your car x10 compared to most electric setups.

wha chu tryin ta say foo? lol. my dad said the same thing actually. but the bolts tore through the fan, they didnt just fall off. maybe my stock KA is just that damn beastly. fans cant even hang.

aaah i have the dual 12" fans from an I30 and they work just fine for me. no over heating or anything.

I only have the stock electric fan that comes on with the AC, no clutch fan in my car :chuckle: . It worked great until the relay chit the bed and the car overheated on I95 in standstill traffic, cracked the rad but nothing some pepper and a bicycle patch couldnt fix, drove 430 miles with the AC ON until I got back up to PA :rotflmao

eggs work great too!

electric fans seem more a hassle than they are worth. why does everyone like them? free up .01 hp? lol

LOL, In VA I pulled over and put one of them in too :rotfl . They wouldnt sell me just 1 egg though.
