Probably has something to do with the fact that I skipped the whole TDC thing...

So how can I tow my car up to the mechanic with a tow strap? Can I just throw it in neutral, and should I also put the transfer case in neutral?

thanks.

Yes, put the transfer case in neutral while towing, especially if you have an auto trans.

Pull the distributor. get it back to TDC on #1 and reinstall the distributor perthe FSM. If it still doesn't start, pull the distributor, rotate the rotor 180degrees, and reinstall.

That's what the mechanic is going to do.

Well I got it back today.

They reinstalled the distributor.... still wouldnt start... a few hours later they finally figured out there was a loose wire in the clip of the new distributor.. and then they fixed the timing.

4 hours of labor, $135, BOOMSHAKALAKA!
