you know, the ones like Nagisa Auto's gacchiri support and Jonnie Fraz's fender braces?
well i thought it would be cool to try and make some. (since my car was sitting in pieces for the longest time.)
they actually made a big difference...lol. the front end doesnt squeak as much as it did before. and the front end got a LOT stiffer. (maybe it's because i put my strut bar back on at the same time too tho.)
i'm sure they don't work as well as Nagisa Auto's or Jonnie's, but they made me happy
anyways maybe i'll give more feedback on them after i drive the car some more.

Very cool!

I would make so many cool braces if I had a welder!

Hey I was wondering what kind of materials you used? Like the metal plate thickness and the rod thickness.

i'm pretty sure the rod was 5/16" square tubing idr the thickness though :/
and the metal plate was about 1/8" thick it was the hardest to work with haha.

this made the front of my car wayy stiffer.
i didn't think it could get much stiffer but it did...
turn in's feel crisper now though.
i understeered into a bush the other day though, but im that was my fault. :frown:
i would definitely recommend these, homemade or bought!

Awesome thanks, I think I might be able to find all of that at my local hardware store. BTW did you have a metal bender or did you go all Hulk status on it with anything you could find?

Hulk status all the way! (with the metal in a vise lol)
putting the end of a jack handle to get leverage also helped when i wasn't feeling too Hulky haha
