i still think its got more soul and character in it than just about any honda, all toyotas, and half of nissans current line up.

look at how Nissan and Infiniti are developing

youve got the cube, the New QX56, the Juke, the New Nissan Murano CrossVert, etc. those cars are about as polarizing as the corolla is boring.

i for one like it. FInally Nissan has put this phase behind it:

Apparently the going consensus is that this thing might be ugly but it has a lot of "personality". Personally I think it's just ugly, funny thing is the only one's I've ever seen in person were owned by flamers... I see the same future for the Juke.

I don't think I hate the Juke as bad as MoD, but it was a big disappointment to me. I drove the one with the CVT so that was a big, fat fail but I'm not sure how much a manual is gonna help it. I'm reserving final opinion until then. Unfortunately, it is very unremarkable, especially for the price.

Here's my write-up. I'm actually hoping someone reads this, goes and does their own test drive and loves it.

Manual makes a HUGE difference. Nissan's got to get off its reliance on the CVTs. It ruins the Maxima as well.

yeah, i dont think so. the suzuki was a generally terrible car with no descernable qualities. the Juke isnt the same. its got a ton of interesting features, ala cube. also, the same arguement could be said of the cube. yet, i think greg/bex are pretty happy with theirs?

im looking forward to seeing more of these. ugly, not ugly, doesnt matter. it doesnt put me to sleep like the rest of the segment. point is, nissan is shifting from making crappy cars with no design, to great cars WITH design. i dont see any of its asian competitors save hyundai/kia, doing the same.

So, the findings from this thread are:

It's a Nissan, so it's awesome.

It's a horrible design and implementation, so it sucks.

Conclusion:

Nissan and Infiniti Car Owners need to get off Nissan's nutsack!
