test drove a 3.5 cvt today at the dealer and before i realised it i was doing 100 and i didnt even feel it my friend with me that has a 91 intergra with a b20 said it didnt have any balls and it didnt pick up but i disagree the thing is quick i got a chance to put it in manual mode but not much so i dnt know if using that will make a diffrance when i drag it at track (1/4mile strip) the against his b20

its priced at 25k and they dnt have any 6mts in stock and the closest dealer that has any is 1000 miles away and there loaded and are around 29k

and its sliver which im not really feeling since every nissans bas color is silver

o and they already sold one of ther GTRs and only have 1 for sale even though they wont get it in untill mid july

lol i have a 3.5se with CVT and the thing is, it's QUICK!!! BUT you don't feel it.... trust me, you'll kill your buddies integra lol i don't even waste my gas racing those. those do what, 16's in the 1/4 mile? i hit a 13.912 (almost a 13.8) and all i did was take off 2 bolts and push something to the side but with everything 100% stock i ran a 14.4 and someone else said they ran a 14.3 100% stock. it's quick but its smooth.... really good for a fast daily driver. if you want something that will really throw you in your seat and everything, you gotta get a stick (even tho its not much faster AGAINST A GOOD DRIVER, it just has that kick)

i love stick shift and wanted a stick shift sooooo bad! but i got mine last year (4th of July) and all they had was one 3.5se and it had CVT. CVT is koo tho. unless you're HELLA GOOD with stick shift, CVT will win. stick just gives you that little kick

the 6mt is pushing more whp dude. it really shouldn't take a "HELLA GOOD" stick driver to keep up with the cvt cause you're going to absolutely own the cvt off the line.

if you can get traction lol no one with a stick is able to get traction. even your vids before you got your turbo you can hear a bunch of wheel spin and with the turbo you don't get traction till 60 mph lol a lot of people with stick shift don't know how to drive it like a pro and with CVT it's an auto, its pretty much just hit the gas. with stick shift you have to really know what you're doing to launch it perfect and then you gotta know how to shift fast without losing traction. i've only seen like 1 or 2 stick shifts hit the 14.2 like they should and when i was 100% stock i did a 14.4 and i forgot who it was but they said they did a 14.3 in there 100% stock CVT. so a good driver gets a 14.2 and a CVT will get 14.3 or 14.4. with a stick shift its very easy to lose that .1 or .2 secs. i mean if you are a good driver then YES you will be faster then CVT but only by a couple tenths of a sec. if someone isnt a good driver then theres a good chance a CVT can take them.

for example, someone hit a 13.7 in a 100% stock SRT-4 but my friend couldn't hit a 13.7 until he had $6,000 into his car lol and most SRT4 drivers get low 14's when stock. it all depends on the driver with stick shift, CVT you just hit the gas and it's pretty hard to mess up with an auto

trust me hussain. i know everything you speak of. the stock 6mt is not hard to launch with. yes, now that i have boost it's insane with the stock rubber because at full throttle the tires will break loose in first and second around 5600-5700 rpms which gets a little scary. but launching when stock was easy and a slight chirp doesn't mean you had a bad lauch so long as it's slight and you immediatly hook up.anyway, i got some more vids to post up here in a couple minutes. I'll create a new thread to show just how nasty this thing really is.

lol ya but keep in mind i said GOOD DRIVERS. didnt you say you were racing for hella years? like used to even race go carts or something? you've gone to the track several times you obviously know how to drive it but how many cars have you seen run much slower then they should? what i was saying is that YES stick is faster BUT only by a couple tenths of a sec and it's very easy to lose that edge if you don't know what you're doing. i even saw a LS1 camero with exhaust and everything that SHOULD be running a 13.7 or 13.6 but instead was running a 14.2. everyone knows that its not the car that determines the race, its the driver (unless you go extreme like a GT-R against a stock sentra). and with CVT theres a much lower chance of messing up...... in the end they're both fast and stick is faster with a good driver and slower with a bad driver.....

sooooo how much horsepower you got with the Turbo now? any issues with torque steer?

so far as hp/tq gain i'm waiting for the kit to release before advertising anything. I'll prolly bring the dyno sheet to the meet and show the locals, but for the rest you'll have to wait until the kit is released or some people tell me to go ahead and spill all the details.

There my issues are over.

I still wanna know what type of performance increase one can expect from this.
