I have had my car running for a year now and have been shoving quite a bit on boost down it's little rb20 throat. So of course when the head gasket finally blew I proceeded to remove my trunk sheet metal make a new one install a fuel cell and make my stock fuel rail dual feed and add a carbon fiber hatch. Oh ya and rebuild the head and put it back together with ARP studs. Here is the first installment death of my street car.

Unfortunately I do not know how to link pics and make them show upso you will have to click my cardomain link to see the damage I have inflicted on my poor car

Nice work! That turned out really well. What FPR are you using with that setup?

One question, why did you go with the EGT on Cylinder 1 vs. Cylinder 6? Was it just for ease of installation?

stock fpr is what I am using for now I just cut the boss off the stock fuel rail and tapped it for a -6 fitting. Cyl 1 because that is the cyl I put the smallest injector from my matched set on. Should I move it somewhwere else? that is the stock fuel rail with -6 fittings tig welded on. It took forever to make that tunk panel fit like that.(many carboard templates)

After all that SS fuel line and drilling and tapping etc, the stock FPR seems like the weak link. I would get a SARD or Aeromotive FPR since it looks like you will be running a lot of fuel through the system.

No just asking why you chose cylinder 1, but it makes sense that you put it on the track that your lowest flowing exhaust is on.

BTW this is my 1500th post!
