well i collapse on my CA18det while drifting. i didnt want to spend the 40.00x16 for new lifters so i decided to rebuild them. well today i finally got around to it. i will post a link to the how to i used because i couldnt have done it with out it. i had about 6 lifters that i could push up and down, it was pretty bad. i do wish i would have taken more pictures but this is what i have. all in all it took about 7 hours, but it was worth the silent valve train that i ended up with!

This is the end of the tear down. im glad it was this easy as i havent had to dive into this engine at all in the two years of running it.

next is a picture of the lifters some what disassembled. they are caked with nasty cooked oil. and inside was even worse.

next is cleaning and polishing the lifters for a very minimal friction surface.

and this is what i ended up with at the end.
