Brought my z up to new england dragway last night to see what I could do. My fastest time ended up being 14.111 @ 102.80mph. What have you guys been running and any launching tips?

102.8 is a good speed and should result in a time in the 13's. I'll bet once you get a little more experience you'll see 103 witn the ets in the <13.80s.

Very good for a 1st. time though.

BTW, congrats for taking it to the track. Good luck with future events.

I'd say 14.1 for a stock 03 touring model is good, especially with street tires, a lighter weight perfromance model with DR's or maybe even a newer higher powerd Z would be 13's

It's not a Z, but I'll be running my G here in a few hours. I'm about to log off, and head to the track. I'll let you know the times when I get back tonight!

I prefer having a backseat. Plus the biggest reason I wanted a G, is that I have always wanted a Skyline. This is the most affordable, and legal version I can get.

i'm just kidding, my first choice was the G but i got a better deal on the Z so i took it. Happy as you know what though. For me this was the right choice. For you, that was.
