Details of the game. So the ones that don't know, see what I am talking about (Link):http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polybius_(game) That is weird . just google: Polybius game

First I was kind of scared on playing this game, because of what I read and found out, but than I said f*** it, might as well see what all the fuzz is about. To tell you the truth is kind of freaky and weird game. It gave me a slight headache and I got dizzy. Now according to info I found out, it says that it gives you amnesia, insomnia, nightmares, sleep walking, seizures and other things. I am going to see if I have any nightmares or anything weird. Anyways, overall is addicting. I don't recommended people playing this game, but if you want to, I am not responsible for anything that happens to you. It may affect you. So if you play it, play at your own risk. I am just giving my experience on this game.

Sweet link.

I am not going to search for this game because my memory sucks as it is, I'm epileptic and don't need a seizure anytime soon and I'm not a fan of nightmares. Thanks though.

I played Daikatana once and I'm still mostly sane. I doubt this can be any worse.

Nope. Mac OSX Snow Leopard. I need to download something to play it and I really don't feel like doing that for a game that I'll play once.

So I am playing the game and I am not impressed. The game sucks. It get's points for creepiness though. Playing this game on LSD must be a kick in the pants.

Even the Read Me file's "Disclaimer" is weird;
POLYBIUS Disclaimer wrote:DISCLAIMER/CLARIFICATION:The effects used in this game are commonly employed in othergames and in the industry. It does not actually induce hypnosis, mood alteration, or cause mind control (that technology simplydoes not exist). The attempts to faithfully recreate the gameas it was in 1981 are limited to notions of gameplay and generalappearance. The conspiracy elements of this recreation are for noveltyas are most of the toggles in the higher functions menu. The onlyreal toggles in the Higher Functions Menu are for entrainmentoff/on/volume, visual interactive backgrounds on/off, subliminals, false offkey, poltergeist functions, access code, and autonomy. The others are for effect to shock and amaze your friends on seeingthe game IRL. For the record, the ghosts seen are also not real ghosts(perhaps MIB constructs for plausible deniability?). Finally, pleaseavoid saying "POLYBIUS" three times while facing a mirror. Theymonitor for that.

If you have any reservations or concerns about playing this game, don't play. Do something else instead. Why don't you pass the timeby playing a little solitaire?
WTF?

I tried to included some screen shots but every time I tried to go frame by frame my VLC would freeze up randomly

This game creeps me out and with enough hours logged into this game I could without a doubt expect some issues, suicide... no, but it will definitely mess with you

E-mail sent.

BTW: I had a little bit of insomnia and had a weird a** dream, that I was killing zombies. Which was kind of cool. I am going to play it today for a while to see the effects later

Stop being a tool man. Its a cheap video game with a simple optical illusion. This isn't even the version that is supposed to make you have nightmares/go crazy... The whole "original lost for ever" is such BS, just urban legend/hype/marketing

No. I am not being a tool. You think the nightmares I had and insomnia I had are just coincidence. It has been like 4 or 5 years the last nightmare I had. Why don't you play it and see for yourself. Set it up with all the settings. Try it and then give me your opinion.

No. I think you found this on Wikipedia last week or so, concocted a cool story about it and decided to pretend on NICO that you played it. Maybe you were not getting enough attention IRL or something.

No, I think you got yourself so worked up about the fact that you were going to have nightmares that you gave yourself nightmares.

Did you read this? The effects used in this game are commonly employed in othergames and in the industry. Its not even the supposed original game, most of the options are jokes that do nothing.

E-mail sent. when the game start press 0 it takes you to the settings menu and with the arrows up and down takes you to different settings and with laft and right they change the setting, after go to Higher Game Functions and put in the code: 35-34-31-54-12-24-45-43. After that enable all the settings and save and play
