Car: Working on my car

Post

About a week ago at University of Oregon(where I attend) I saw a S13 front end fly down a road. I kinda stared in disbelief because as I knew it my friends and I are the only ones into Nissans in town. He was already long gone and moving before I could say hi.

However just a few minutes ago I saw his car parked and I stalked it. Sure enough he came out to it and I got a chance to talk to him. His car is a 91-93 hatchback. He has the Infiniti wheels on it like the 180sx. I told him they were a nice touch...that's when I looked at his left front wheel and noticed a shiny side-mount intercooler. I asked him if he had a SR swap and he smiled and said, "No those are lame, I have the RB." Ha, I nearly fell over. Apparently he got into a wreck about a month ago and ordered the new front-end. His car looks really good and clean, he has the Aero Silvia bumper also. Anyways, I am meeting up with him and my friends tonight and we will post pics for all of you to see.

Nissan people rule. :ylsuper Jon

This story reminds me. I saw a hot *** hell blonde girl in my neighborhood who owns a maroon S13 coupe. I was driving by as she was getting out of the car and I said hi to her. I haven't seen her sense. Sometimes I get too complaciant and fail to follow up on new leads...

So I guess it wasn't just me then that felt the gay vibe emanating from the post. But I hear you man, no matter how you look at it, it will be weird to approach a guy. But the gayness factor goes down since you're talking about cars.:ylsuper

Some kid walked up to me one day when i parked my car at Homedepot and started drooling all over and was like "Hi, is this SR!!!!!!!"i was like "ugh, yeah...and tried to keep walking but he wouldn;t really leave me alone" haha, so if you ask people about their cars, either have a 240, or be cool about it.

I met a guy at one of our import race nights who raced his s14 with a rb25 swap. He was getting no traction through 3 gear and was still running mid 12's on street tires. This was at night so there was alot of moisture on the track. I don't even wanna know what it woulda ran on slick with good track prep.

What company might this be?

I tryed to buy a SR for a "bargine price" and i almost got screwed (i would have if i didnt pull out early). My SR cost me $2500 for just the motor set and im highly suspicious of prices too good to be true. More power to you if you can get one for that cheap that actually is complete and working :)

that's tight though, i was in san diego over summer and i saw a bad *** kouki S14 in a parking lot just chillin there. All body kitted out and a fat *** intercooler in the bumper. I was waiting for the owner to come out but i think they might have worked somewhere nearby cause they never came and i left.
