So I'm stuck up now?

First of all, sorry for the long hiatus. It really sucks to have no internet connection and then have your keyboard break in half...no really it does. I have a question for you guys though. Do people tell you you're stuck up because you drive a 240? Or is it just me? I'm serious, I get so much flak because my car doesn't have a freakin park bench wing, or because I don't want a body kit. A guy at my school came up and called me a rich boy because I drive a S13. Huh? What am I missing here?

i havent been called stuck up for having a 240, a guy i know doesnt call it a car because its automatic, so what if i cant beat his rx-7, i think i get more stuck up people talking crap, than being called one

i dont know, some people, ronin cough cough, think that my mommy and daddy pay for everything cuz my dad has a shop and im using a remote spot in the back outside, but oh well, people, cough ronin cough, are ignorant

No actually the last time I saw him he was pushing a beamer...but wouldn't that make his car more expensive than mine? How am I a rich boy? (I bought the car with my own money, maintain it with my own money, will start modding it with...oh wait my own money)

without trying to say anything bad...if you have enough money to pay for everything yourself, how is that saying that you aren't rich.

it just looks strange saying i don't have any money and then saying i pay for everythin myself. so, i guess that means the other guy is jellous because mommy and daddy have to buy him everything.

Bottom line is that if you are earning your own money, and paying for everything that goes on your car (or anything else for that matter), then no one else can say anything to you. I work hard for every penny that i have put into my 240, and ill be damned if anyone called me spoiled or stuck up.

kbrunjes read 240sxowners post. How about I'm doing the same thing as him (matter of fact I work with him). I work for my money, being rich has nothing to do with it. My dads enlisted in the military, which by no means makes us rich. Otherwise I wouldn't have to have a job to mod my car, now would I?

They call you a rich boy? Sheesh, where I went to school (same place Repoman and Simmsled) went to school a 240 would not be considered extravagant. My sister's boyfriend in highschool drove an XJ8 Jaguar.

I just think they are a bunch of haters cause they love the look of the S-13.

kids just need something to put down other people. like being fat, having braces, & whatnot. it seems as you get older that it becomes "imature" to use thoes. so, they move on to cars, cloths, whatever.

So far the only comments I have heard from my friends/family about my car are:"wow, you got a really good deal""do you drift it?""why haven't you drifted yet?""you need to lower it and get new rims""I'll hook you up with some new rims""how fast is it?""that's cute" (girls)"can I drive it?" (no)

Anyway, don't let jerks get to you, you're not stuck up.
