so just temporarily till i can get some air bags i ordered some RS*R lowering springs for the show coming up(import face off dallas tx) i over nighted them also...but one of my chocks are blown in the back now and the ride is wobbly...i was wondering since the springs i ordered are s14 springs because i was told it the same springs on the Q45 ...i was wondering if the shocks would be the same also. does anyone know about this! i need answers ASAP thank you!

Nice ride... Now I have a question for you or anyone that reads this actually, since u said the springs are the same as the s14... I have read on a couple different sites that the g50 springs and a lot of the other suspension parts are interchangeable with the z32 and the r32 skyline... Does anyone know of any truths to this? And if it is true, what would people recommend going with? I want my g50 lowered too, I got 2003 g35 coupe rims on and I would like it maybe just a tad bit lower.... Any input would be appreciated, thanks guys

Yes, many people can easily surmise a 3,000 lb. car will require a different spring and shock absorber dampeninig rate than a 4,000 lb. car.

Click HERE. Owinbush did the S14 conversion. You can put the s14 springs on to lower the Q. The rest takes some mods.

I was doing some experiment with ESPELIR Springs this weekend and I installed G50 rear springs in my FGY33 and they fit perfect.

FGY33 rear springs are 2.8k and G50 rear springs are 4.2k. The ride is little stiffer than the FGY33 springs but damping got lot solid on the bumps.

It damp the bump like sitting on a foam couch. I was amazed with the difference in ride. I do carry passengers alot so I'm going to see if higher rate springs can support more weight in the rear squat without compromising the ride quality.

I think it will be a much more comfortable ride. Maybe a little soggy.

Of all the cars I have installed coilovers/springs/shocks I have found that books and words will not ever accurately explain the outcome.
