I found this beautiful truck in the middle of the desert in Arizona for just $600.00!!! what a steal. I told the guy if you can get it to start and pull forward and backward I will buy it from you. He did and I bought it. After a little TLC that day I drove it home. After I got it home I looked it over a little more and found that there is no damage, rust, or denting to the entire body, and the only thing wrong with it is that the seat and seals have all dry-rotted. I have had some trouble keeping it going, but I found that once the float was set properly then I was able to keep it happy by messing around with the manual choke. I will post pictures soon. Does anyone know how much this guy is worth right now? did I get ripped off? I don't feel like I did.

these trucks go for different prices all the time.... i've seen some dirt cheap at $300 all the way up to things like $2000 in excellent condition

to be honest... i think you got a pretty decent deal... $600 for a truck is never a bad thing if you ask me

welcome to NICO!

I purchased my 66 520 for $300 with a frozen motor.

Do you live in AZ?

The taillights with the white backup lense are I believe 67 and up 520. The 66 lenses are solid red no back up light.

Try and find one in New England for that price and condition. I'd snap it up in a second. :gapteeth:

Pictures please. Where did you drive it home to? I think you got a good deal.

The trouble with New England area is rust. I feel fortunate for having purchased mine for $300. I does have some body damage & after cleaning the passenger floor floor I will have to patch an area about 8" x 8" do to a neglected wind sheild leak.

Good find for the money. How's the project coming so far?
