Pop was $160. + shipping. The Z-tube was $60+ shipping.Hookm36 wrote:Beancook, where did you get the combo for 160.00 ? I want to get one, and I have a friend who just bought a G, so Im talking him into getting one also.
So after having it installed, do you just see the pop charger as something that effects the sound rather than performance ?
and on your rating of a 60, is that based on performance, if so w/out performance what would you rate it ?
Thanks for your help
Yes, you were right.joe603 wrote:Told ya you would like it!!!
Uh oh. I guess that is why I can never keep a girlfriend.beancooker wrote:Treat the MAF assembly as if it were a vagina. Be soft and gentle with it.
Do you have a pic of your's?rmezz13 wrote:When i bought my Z it had the pop-charger on it w/ heat shield, i didn't like the dull look of the heat shield so i polished it, turned out great, it looks so good i left it on even with the injen CAI. May serve a purpose in keeping the air cooler on its journey to the motor. My plenum stays cool to the touch until the motor heat warms it after sitting shut off but i also have a composite plastic plenum (Kinetix V+). Try the polish, and put a little d*ck into it when your polishing it, it will turn out nicely.
Just go with the Pop Charger for $110 and the polished tube for $97. Don't forget to get a bottle of oil for when you need to re-oil.all G’d up wrote:I think I'm gonna go with the JWT Pop Charger for my G. Is it possible to buy just the Pop Charger and then get the polished Z tube so it has a better look under the hood? I see them on Everything G35. The JWT kit is $195, the Pop Charger is $110 & the polished Z tube is $97. Can I use this combo or is there gonna be something missing that the kit has?

How necessary is the oil? Does the filter have to be oiled?
Yes, it has to be re-oiled when you wash it. It will come from the factory pre-oiled.all G’d up wrote:Ok thanks. I figured it would work together.
