1997 Honda Accord EX Sedan, 5-speed manual, 2.2 liter I-4It's black with black leather, fully loaded, high miles (103K) but cosmetically perfect. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Wednesday I order this bad boy. :D

...and the project gets under way. The engine pictured (H22A4) above has 220HP and 7800rpm redline. :thumbup

I tried but couldn't find a 240SX, and I'm a Honda man at heart. But I'll still browse these forums because I still love the 240SX's. :)

I'm a fan of swapped hondas, althought I would have done a coupe myself. My mom owns a '97 lx auto. I don't like it much, but they are good looking cars.

I dumped my 93 Accord and never looked back. That stupid car was as much fun as watching grass grow and as exciting to use as a toaster. Like all Hondas, I had to rev the **** out of that SOB to get any damn power out of it.

And why does Honda claim to be first with production variable valve timing? Infiniti did it first in 1989.

*sigh*

Thank goodness I own a Q45. A car with personality, soul, class, and smooth V8.

here here brother. when i enter my senior year at UTA and hopefully get the internship they offer, im gonna look for a family hauler, something i can drive around in with room. right now its a tie between a G35, Q45 or Max. the only downside to the max is its wrong wheel drive.

"do not touch, just in case you try to gay it up"

hehe maybe a sign underneath

"do not apply any neons here"

In that case Mr. Honda-man-at-heart, perhaps you better change that handle to something more suitable.

Not everything has to be Nissan (I'm a big Cadillac fan) but come on... a freaking HONDA ACCORD? For the same price you can get a Maxima with a world-class V6.

hehe, we have a few guys with some crazy fast daily driven maxs in the DNE. my friend joffe has a 13 second daily driven Max, and he just did a sspd swap and fixed the tubing for the blower. guy named Thommas has a turbo'd Max and its FAST. i was actually leaning more towards the max, like a 5th or 6th gen.

Congrats on the purcahse. I like the looks of that model accord, and that motor will be awesome in it. H22's are great motors, although, like everyone said, you gotta rev the crap out of it to get any power. That sucks, but anyway, good luck and congrats!

For looks, my favorite is the 98-02 Accord (you know, before Honda ****ed it up). The 98 Accord has a rakish profile. A shame the seats are rock hard and uncomfortable.

I went through my honda civic phase and found the 240sx. My friend owned a 91 accord lx, he concidered doing the H22 swap. Then he bought a mint condition datsun 280zx. I'm also thining of picking up a 94 accord as a daily driver soon. Nick
