Just to gain additional clearance when climbing over stuff on trails, I removed my mudflaps...the front ones come off easy with 2 bolts and 2 screws, but the rears are hard molded into the fenders....so, broke out the cut off wheel and grinder and went to work...now it looks like hot hammered dog **** but it's effective...gained about 3 inches of clearance on the backsides of all 4 tires. Not bad for 15 minutes and a bunch of melted plastic all over my driveway. Anyone need the 2 fronts? They're in good shape, didn't have to cut them up....if you need them, let me know..otherwise, they're garbage. I'll toss up some pics of my shoddy job later...now, I have an excuse to either rhino line my fenders, or paint them green....hmm....the possibilities.

interesting! I lost my rear mudflaps naturally, from digging down too deep in terrain, too many times.

I removed the front mudflaps, had to remove them to fit 32" BFG's which i ended up selling, and i lost the mudflaps.

If you think they'd fit and you want 'em...by all means...not sure if they will 'cause your Q has all that molding and all......

im no offroader, but after taking another look at your q fueler on the thread u posted a while ago of u offroading......i just might take my flaps off. it looks much nucer in my opinion...less car-ey

six guns......lets see the pics man! ive nevr seen pics of your ride....it seems like you push it to the limits if your willing to shred paint and body mouldings off for clearance...lol way to go guys!

I've completely taken mine off. Just some panel bolts and a little time on the QX. No need to grind'em off. I definitely prefer the look. It'd look bad *** if I had some real tires on it though, not my piddly DD tires.

OK, here's what she looks like...

I still need to finish fine-sanding it and paint them back to gloss black with some clear, just to make it look almost factory...might do it tomorrow, but I doubt it....I'll put up some pics when I'm finished...

Good for you, it looks better & now you can run a bit bigger tires.

I haven't had mudflaps since I ripped the rear bumper off & cut-up the front one...
