and I plan on using it on buy something for my G...

So I'm aiming for something kewl like a CAI. So far I've looked up AEM and their product looks pretty interesting. I have about $320, so of course I'm in no hurry to pull the trigger on this yet. So if one of you gentlemen and/or gentleladies can point me in the right direction towards a system that can give me the best bang for my buck, that'd be great!

Merry Christmas folks!

alright, I'll look into this...

I'm going to bump this thread because I'm also looking into some Eibach Sportlines. So if anyone has any experience with this maybe you can answer my question about alignment after installation. Do you need any aftermarket alignment modifications (i.e. Control Arms, etc.) in order to achieve a proper alignment after the installation of the springs? or can you just install the springs and get an alignment, just like that?

BONUS QUESTION!

What size wheel spacer do I need to get a decent "flush with the fender" look? isn't it 35mm all around?

I'm sorry I'm sounding so demanding, but know that your help will be rewarded with unmeasurable love and high-fives

If you dont have a plenum spacer, you should get one of those instead of an intake system. Spacer + K&N is a better option for power, and performance.

If your car is a 5AT then a 3.5 FD pumpkin swap with VLSD is pretty much the best mod I've done.

If you go with the Sportlines (1.5" drop) you will need to get a rear camber kit at a minimum or you will be wearing right through the inside of your tires from camber wear.

In order to know what it will take for your rims to be flush, it is essential to know what rims you are working with: offset, rim width, and tire size.

The best bang for the buck I'd have to say is plenum spacer. With a drop, you'd have to get a camber kit to correct the camber or your car would be sitting like this /----\ like mine hahah. Assuming you have the oem 19s, i think 35mm might be too much if you only want flush. Something like 25 or 30 would be fine i think. Offsets in the low teens would be flush and single digit offsets or negative offsets would be aggressive.

G35 OEM AT has a 3.3 Final Drive gear ratio OEM MT has a 3.5FD gear ratio

alot of guys that have the AT want to swap their entire differential [pumpkin] with the MT's differential so they can have a higher gear ratio for a relatively cheap price [cheaper compared to getting the aftermarket 3.9 or 4.083 gears installed into the pumpkin itself]. The higher final drive gear ratio shifts the power band over, and gives you torque earlier on in the each gear.
