Yeah, we drove a combined total of 2 and a half hours to spend 20min driving for the test and 40 or so waiting around. Anyway, I get home, and I'm trying to open the garage (the remote-button is finicky), and it doesn't, well... 3rd time's a charm, right? So... what do I see? But This (except black) sitting in there. I usually hate surprises, but that's one I'll take. Pics soon!

5spd, black, as I mentioned, 01' Sentra SE. mmm.. SR20DE power... has everything except sunroof. It's quick, for sure, I'm guessing mid 7's to 8 0-60 (not like I tested that at all... :) ), but you guys probably know that. It has 37,120-ish on the odo, which is kinda high for that year, but not bad at all. Oddly, its the newest car in the house, and the two problems my brother has had with the two cars he's driven regularly (stubby or no passenger side window and screwed up stereo in his Audi). The shifter pole has a bend in it (stock, not damaged), why is that?edit, for the rich kid comment: I may be lucky and have money, but I'm not totally stupid. There's so many people here who get brand new Civics and rice them, only to wreck them insanely soon. I'm obeying my parents wishes and driving particularly slow and careful (compared to my brother, at least), meaning the speed limit or a couple under, at least for the first few months. I just have fun getting to the limit :ylsuper .

A Sentra cause that's what we could find (240's are impossible) and I need a car. It's pretty darn new and it still has warranty. Low insurance, and a host of other reasons you can put into the "new driver" category. And hey, its not a Civic, Teg, or any of that. No one around here drives a modded Sentra (I will within a year, probably), and anyone who might would rice it out.

My computer has gone insane, I'll get pics up tomorrow night for all to see. I'll get better ones once I wash it (its raining a bit lately, so that could be a few days). edit: I'd forgotten about the avatar, there's a small pic to suffice for now. It's funny, it wasn't until sometime last night, when I drove to a friends house, that I actually felt 16, and the sensation that I got a car still isn't hitting me.

Its a great first car if you ask me. Great car to learn in, and it gets great gas mileage, too, so congrats again. Great first car IMO

Here's a couple pics, I'll link the rest so I don't kill 56k-ers and destroy NICO bandwidth...

Okay, I'll keep trying to see if the album has been added to the gallery, for now- Here's the album

The SR20DE sounds so pissed off between 3500 and redline, even moreso than my brother's 1.8T, and he has chip and exhaust.

re-edit: Those of you who aren't members can't get to them for now, I think... the album hasn't been listed in the gallery yet.

I know, I did and it just became a link. It would have showed "you must sign in" anyway. I can't find the album in the gallery though... wtf? anyone know why? Oh yeah, my initials actually are WTF, which makes that fun...

Except your's is an SE-R (look of envy). I found this site nearly a year ago (a year at the end of the month) while looking into 240s. I was still looking for 240s when I was surprised on Saturday. My dad saw it at the credit union where he works and wasn't going to look at it cause he figured I wasn't into it, but the credit union dude convinced him to drive it and he liked it. My dad then consulted my brother about it and decided to buy it. They hid it at my brother's girlfriend's house overnight and drove it here while my dad and I were getting my license, it was a total surprise. Its sorta the same thing we did to my mom on Mother's Day 02', except my dad said he was going to get the brakes fixed on our Avalon and got her a 98' E320 instead, lol.

"SE-R Spec V":evilhaha J/K You have something that I dont.....A good aftermarket turbo kit or two that are proven on your motor.Thats so cool to find that sort of surprise.I'm not sure whats up with that shifter? How does it feel? You should check into the OEM spec V shifter or maby something aftermarket.

I'm going to look into short shifters soon. It feels alright, just the throws are huge and the pole itself is massive too, so... Stop gloating, and I don't have a sunroof either... damn...
