and started playing Nitto 1320 again. Why? I have no idea, but its actually fun for the moment. Problem is, I feel quite inferior, my silly turbo Civic w/ a 200shot (shaves a couple of tenths off, even though in real life I'm not a fan of N20 at all) is only running low 10s, and there are guys getting low 8s just out of gear ratios, arg!! I wonder what I'm doing wrong... Yes this thread is somewhat random, bored stories/ answers to my ratios problem are welcome.

Its an online racing game. Go to Nittotires.com (I think) and download it. It's in flash or quicktime or something I can't really tell what the emblem is. It's a bit fun sometimes. A few months ago some guys in the 240 area played but I think it fell apart.

I worked my way up to a 7 second-ish Skyline before I quit. I can actually let you have all my money (probably $60,000 total) (Make team, sell everything I have, transfer money into bank, you snag it and run)

I'm not all that interested in money myself (I'd rather make it on my own, which takes way too long, but that's okay). I really need those ratios though...

The ratios are hard to master. Although I messed with them long enough one time to shave like .5 off my time

If you have high boost and high No2, you need to have a narrow 1st gear, a medium 2nd and 3rd gear, and a stretched out top end- The gears fly through in full spool and No2 spray, so keep that in mind

Yeah, my first is really short, 2nd and 3rd are at stock levels, 4th is a little wide and 5th is a little more wide. Some people are running 8 (I even saw a 6) second Civics, so there's something with the ratios, although I also hear that supercharged ones are faster than turbo... which seems odd...

the supercharged civics are a bit easier to drive cause the power starts from the biginning and u dont have to worry about timing ur shifts right which gets very hard when u are running the largest turbo and with the lag in that game. also i had my second gear a little lower than stock settings and first gear extremley short.
