Let me back up. I dropped my car off Thursday morning at the dealer to get the oil changed. Me being the genius that I am (not thinking about the freak snowstorm about to hit) ask if they have any G35 loaners available (instead of the I35s I usually get). The service guy is real nice and says, "yeah, I think people are scared of the snow so I'll pull one up for ya."

Great! I think, my lucky day! Well, I go back to school, finish up my classes for the day and walk out about 4:20ish and see 4 inches of snow on the ground. Mind you, this is TN, and most of these drivers freak out at the sight of rain - that plus the fact that is a RWD vehicle I have limited experience with along with the fact that the roads hadn't been salted/plowed yet made me decide to call the dealership before I *attempted* returning the thing. LOL, turns out they closed up and went home - told me to keep the car as long as I needed it.

So, after playing in the snow for a while, I went to bed. Today I went to classes and decided I'd better take the G35 back in. Well, on the way, I start coming up alongside an early 90's 4dr Accord - you know, dropped, wheels, body kit, coupled with some freak kid driver (hypocrit, I know ;) ) who's already turned around backward staring at me as I pull alongside him at like 35 mph. The kid won't stop staring, and at this point I'm pretty sure he's forgotten he's driving (eyes on the road thing and all) so I just look at him and do one of those "oh, please" laughs coupled with rolling eyes. He proceeds to turn around, floor it and let the fart can sing for the whole 30ft he had in front of him (rush hour traffic, mind you).

Jeez, bumper to bumper traffic, and this guy tries to initiate something? Sometimes I wish I could meet these jokers on a secluded airstrip or highway of some sort...ugh.

What was the point of this post? Well, mostly that I enjoyed the G35 for the day that I had it, that snow is something I missed from having lived in the north for most of my life, and why the hell ricers try to start $hit on freaking city streets in rush hour!!!

Done, I think. :thinker Thanks. :yummy

people that try to start stuff in any kind of trafic, much less rush our, really need to think things through more. what do they have to prove? i mean, you know you are faster, and they know their car sucks. if they don't know, then i'm sure you could tell him, heh heh

Good story! Sounds like you had a pretty fun day in the G35. I have not driven one of those but would love too. I hear BMW 3-series are pretty fun to mess with in those! heh heh

Its twice as funny when a ricer gets smoked with a sleeper, and or a car they have never heard of. They are left with a face that reads 'wha...?' And they are dissapointed that their melon-launcher exhaust didn't make them pull ahed 2 car lengths.

Hehe, I never seem to garner much attention from ricers in my I35 - at least not the racing kind. I always feel the car doesn't look that fast to them so I'd kinda like to show 'em ;-). Some unsuspecting IS300 guys have been shocked before.

Most of the time I'll get stares with my I35, not the craziness brought on while driving the G.

Tony - so many things I wanted to do with the G35, but there were still patches of snow and ice on the road :( Sure put a damper on my fun.

This silver G35 pulled in front of my neighbors house today and before I could get my digital camera it left! I was so mad

There is also this green G35 and a dark grey 240sx (and nothing else!) that is just outside my english class window. In the middle of class I'll just start drooling on my writing spiral...

Heck yeah! Those TL drivers are funny! And I'll be sure to ask for a G35 next time. They're always so nice to me, even though I expect the opposite since I'm so young, so maybe I can wheedle my way into an M45...LOL
