Like a jackass I was parking my car in an awkward spot and snagged my left front on a 33 inch tire. I have never, ever done this before and misjudged it. I wasnt drunk, high or anything - just plain miscalculated the entry. Of course when I back out it ****s my bumper up tearing the left side through and off, leaving the 33 inch tire and other car unscathed. There was no structural damage to my car, simply pulled the bumper off the front left, grr. So here is what it looked like,

Anyways I decided instead of getting it fixed immediately I would go ahead and fix it myself. I know the bumper can be reworked but I am betting the quote would be around 300$+ which I would rather not spend right now. So here is what it looks like after,

As you can see I was able to re fit it without taking the headlights and side panel off, pretty impressive eh j/k . Ah my g is wounded and I really want to get this fixed. Hopefully I will do it sometime in the near future as I hate to see it like this, but this will have to do for a few months.

To have a brand new bumper painted and put on will run you about $800 nowadays.

At least you know where your damage is coming from. Me on the other hand, I'm finding new spots that have been damaged each time I look. This morning I noticed my passenger door has chips in it, the only explanation by looking at it is someone's bag or something. It's been a bad year for my G.
