for those who have read my last thread, i had my shift knob stuck, and after 30 minutes of HEATING IT UP i managed to twist it little by little until it was off, and at the cost of lots of blisters and pain to both my hands

not my question is what shift knob should i get and that would fit nicely with the reverse lift up thing

I dont want to come off as an *** but instead of creating a new thread should you of just posted this in the old thread, this way if someone else has a similar issue when they search they just need to scroll down read your solution.

I guess you don't have a pair of leather gloves? Those might have helped...

lol u guys are funny

i had to "fix" my knob because it was stuck in the wrong angle, so i removed it to see what was holding it down/stuck

and to my suprise, there was glue residue on the metal, which i removed, and the knob was good, meaning it can twist on/off well with no problem

and i am driving with the knob back on, u guys are pro sherlocks :D
