well I posted the few question what to look for when buying murano, I finally came across few that I can afford... didn't work yesterday but today I might be able to finance....(my credit hasn't been that good so this helps rebuilt...)I have been researching and lookin, finally decided to trade in my audi to get it.... I really love murano....

so I got 06 S with 45k on. non intelligent key, no backup camera, no nav/sat radio...

so for the few question probably been asked before...

1. Can I get the OEM camera and install on this murano? if the wire is there just plug in deal, otherwise how anyone adding the camera on these?

2. what alarm/remote start would work well?

3. I also see that it's no HID light, can I use aftermarket HID kit to put in?

You should ask on nissanmurano.org. They're some pretty knowledgeable ppl on there who know a lot about the 1st generation MO's.

Yep I searched through google and found a lot of stuff, I signed up there also. and this is my plan

for the alarm, remote startFortin CAN-SL2 for all wiring

for ipod,peripherel ipod integration kit

for dvd backup camera etc connection NV_RGB3_NISSANINF

then prob 20" rim if not 22"

H&R lowering coil spring for lowering

I thought about bagging murano, I've seen it done in Japan, but I might not gonna go too far on that on this one. since it will be daily.

and also tint front side windows..... hate not tinted....

just to update, well BWR was supposedly had coilover, ended up they discontinued, so opted for H&R.... I seen one guy cut coils to lower more... I would go that route for now until I get the coil over from japan.....

got rims, added rear backup camera and ipod integration now.

rim looks good but can't stand that gap between the tire and fender......

Image
rear view camera in factory location.... it was pia to router the cable...

and intake mod

and resonator off.

Looks good, just curious what system you used with the backup cam? I see that you were going to use the NV_RGB3_NISSANINF, did you use that or choose a different option for video integration? I am looking to find a good a/v interface to install aftermarket nav. I know it is not easy, but the NV_RGB3_NISSANINF would make it a lot easier.
