I have 2.5 L with BD tuner set on +2 timing. ist safe to say i should set it on +1 timing and benefit that couple extra horses?

wow, nice info there. It seems like the timing doesn't really make any kind of difference. Interesting.

Hmm, would I need to run 93gas in my 2.5 if I have it on the premium tune?

jewelz, was this a dynojet? If it is i guess they can be calibrated differently because i dynoed on a dynojet and put down 241whp uncorrected and 250whp corrected (cant remember the torque numbers) with an injen intake and stillen exhaust... i was expecting a little more seeing that you also have the RL ypipe. Nice A/C btw!

You should have done dyno with and without the BD Tuner to see the difference. :P

..AND U DIDNT BOTHER TO POST UP YOUR SHEET?!? dude, 3.56speed a/c on a dyno seems rare on nico!

YES, its a dynojet SAE (corrected).sorry i didnt post that up. elevation is a factor to mang, i mean lets say ie. u live n denver and u bot a SR20DET 240 in deathvalley..U NEED TO HAVE IT TUNED FOR DENVER. but hey im no expert, i could be wrong.

it was awhile back in 2007 i dynoed and i never scanned the dyno sheet. My mistake about not taking the elevation into consideration. You are right, the higher the elevation the less air there is to compress because the atmosphere is thinner. i figure at the elevation of my neighborhood you'll be about 255 - 260whp or so uncorrected and maybe 260-265 corrected. bring it to the nyc and get dynoed, lol... nice numbers

haha nope im a itty bitty lil 2.5 yet im huge lmao see danny got his turbo ^ above fellow 2.5er bc his pen15 is to small and his turbo makes up for it in hp. Anyway hahaha idk i feel like shouldnt it be more i mean im not the best with this stuff but shouldnt you be sitting at about 300? or is this actual whp??

Yea bro dynos measure in wheel horse power not the 270 rated crank horse power. 240 is good. 224 whp is 17% drivetrain loss.

ive used old dyno results before and did the reverse math. For some reason alot of power is getting lost. Normally they say drivetrain loss is 10-15% but it seems our cars are a little higher.

Nissan says the stock V6 puts out 270hp. 270 * 0.83 = 224.1

Then something is wrong with your car if that's all you are putting down to the wheels. I only have an intake and Y-pipe for power adders and am at 264whp 256tq on my sedan.

Then it has to be a combination of that dyno plus the elevation/location, etc.

Elevation definately played a roll, but the lower temps should have given a lil more increase.
