Today I was installing some greddy RAS and when taking one of teh cams caps off, I dropped a washer from one of teh bolts inside the head. =(

I was on the intake side, right at the rear of the head. The washer has fallen into a hole...which im guessing is some kind of oil return...

Anyways..I cant see the washer anymore...and I cant really get a magnet in there unless I tie it to a string, Which could be even more dangerous lol

here is where the washer fell in, Not my head...and its a view from the bottom, From the top its super hard to spot...

Now how the hell do I get this washer out without tearing apart the head....I really really dont want to do that....

Here I even google searched and double posted to try to get this sorted out for ya, Try a flexible mag like the one on that page, and see if you can snake it down in there, its worth a shot man.

Btw, you want the "Bend it" magnet, its like 5 bucks.

That might just be worth a shot.....I wonder how wide the magnet is...the hole is odd shaped from the top, it has like a flat side then almost a half moon....I could probably trim the magnet down to size though...Oh well its 5 bucks lol thanks man!

I hope this thing works....I found where to buy one locally, But its in such an awkward spot, and I have no idea how far down it could have gone.

I'm so scared to turn to motor over =( lol

Just go to sears and pick up an extendable magnet it looks like a pen, but with a magnet on the end. I dropped a bolt down my front cover to where I couldn't see it anymore and I wasn't taking my block apart. I just wiggled the magnet around down there and wala
