finally ready to fire up the motor and it will run...... here is the conditions.

maf plugged in- no go

maf unplugged no break booster- 22HG and is superb idle at 850. all vac created at the break booster from what I can tell?

break booster plugged/ hooked up and no maf- no go

wtf did we do wrong?

Im getting plenty of fuel and when it does run it seems to be running properly. It has to be getting fuel and spark........ timing belt was changed, but it fires right up with the break boosted unhooked and no maf.

what havent I though of. I know we redid a ton of vac lines.........

Im very confused.

Is the check valve to the Brake booster on backwards? That's the only thing I can really think of. Or a leak in the Brake booster

I was just going to tell you to triple check the timing and have every neighbor on the block look at it too.

I can't tell you how many times I have SWORN I had the timing right and I was off a tooth.
