I debadged my last two cars (98 Dodge Intrepid and 06 Accord EXL V6) and now I felt it was time to debadge my 12 Rogue SL AWD. I read a thread on here where someone said to be careful about removing the "AWD" on the trunk because if your car ever gets towed and there is nothing letting them know your car is AWD, then they may tow it like an FWD.... While I think that is good advice, in NYC the tow guys really don't care what your car is they will tow it how they feel like towing it... But nonetheless, I took off the "Rogue" and "SL" letters. I am still trying to figure out whether I want to remove the Nissan emblem and/or the AWD lettering.

Looks really clean, personally I would remove the AWD, looks weird to me over there by itself. I love the nissan emblem, so I would leave that. But everything else looks nice and clean. Good job.
What did you use to remove the lettering?

Just the other day I was behind a Ford pickup that had it's rear badge changed to a blue on chrome silhouette of a duck hunting scene.

There's just so many ways you can go with this, your imagination is your only limit. For a unique look, you can create your own and have it made.

I really like the clean look - I don't understand why I have a badge advertising my transmission on my Rogue. It just clutters up the vehicles and draws your eyes away from it towards the badging.

Do you have plans to take off the big Nissan logo or is that actually bolted on?

Thank you very much! I used dental floss to remove the letters, and Goo-Gone Extreme and cleaner wax to remove the adhesive... But the temps were not optimal (not very warm) in my garage, and at only ~57 degrees F, it took a lot of time to get the adhesive off... I have little swirl marks where the "Rogue" was now from me using a rag to rub the adhesive off. Its not noticeable... I put my face close to the trunk and shined light on the trunk to see... But still, I know its there, so I will use some scratch-X on that area, and eventually get it polished/compounded, etc if I need to.

Thank you for that link. I was actually thinking of either removing the Nissan emblem altogether, or covering the "Nissan" letters in the emblem with painter's tape to make it flush, and plasti-dipping the area where the "nissan" letters are in the emblem so there are no visible letters at all. But if I ever want to do custom emblems I'll definitely check them out!

I am still thinking that I may take off the Nissan emblem also, but I haven't decided on that yet... Unlike my Honda Accord, the Nissan emblem is only stuck on the trunk like the lettering... So no holes if I remove it... What to do what to do?

Here are a couple Rogues completely debadged:

EddNog's solution for the rear is still my favorite. That looks awesome!

I am actually planning to do the same with the OEM "Rogue" badge, by separating the letters.
