So my girlfriend was complaining about how her 240's brakes fade and made noise so I took it into my own hands to fix that little problem. Hence the pics. Needless to say we're both satisfied with the outcome. The braking is very noticeable when slowing from higher speeds. Now if I can only get her to complain about the ride height, so I can give her my tein basics and buy some stance coils.

Sick man. +2 on the asking what bracket to use lol.

I have the R1 WURKS aluminum caliper adapters to run 350z rotors using 300zx calipers. i assume the Brembo's would mate the same way.

i don't quite understand the purpose of using z33 track rotors with z32 brakes. you're getting less use of the pads' surface area, and even if you did use the full pads, you still aren't using the rotor 100%.

more rotor surface area (by circumference) = less heat

at least that's what I'm thinking

while that may be physically true, i really don't believe that 99% of people who do this are really benefiting from this. almost like it's just bragging rights at that point.

i know this, but i won the bid dirt cheap and i didnt want puny little rotors behind my 17" enkeis...these look a whole lot better, but i dont track my car so i could care less...car still stops on a dime.

LOL.. true. Probably the same reason why people get Endless 12pot pistons for HIN.

but just like how wheel gaps are considered ugly, so are small brakes on huge rims

Actually they're not 350z calipers they're sentra calipers. But I believe they use the same pads, so in turn would have the same braking surface as 350z calipers. If she wanted to do anything else to her car I would probably swap stuff from my car and buy new stuff for mine.

Sentra calipers bolt right up and I used Ser Spec V rotors w/nissan spec V oem brake lines. The back I might just throw some slotted rotors with hawk pads when I get some cash or pay off my credit card. The only reason I went with this setup was because I got one caliper off craigslist for $20. The other only cost $90 so $110 for two brembo calipers is a steal! The whole kit without spacers cause I have a high offset wheels, was under $300 (rotors, calipers pads included, extra line and misc.) Oh and before you go out and spend money on these make sure your wheel will allow these to fit. 17" but the wheel design, like my rota 962's wouldn't clear the caliper diameter wise.
