But I used conventional 80w90 gear oil.
My 9 year old vehicle runs awesome and accelerates nice and smooth.
Like new even.
Still the original transmission.
Since everyone seems to be using synthetic 75w90, I thought I replace my fluid with synthetic severe gear oil too.
Of course I knew my oils were still good.
They came out clear at least to me, since it still recently fresh oil.
But boy it seemed that the rear diff magnetic plug had more friction material aka. Slimey crude on it.
Kinda unexpected I thought.
Anyways, got all the fluids refreshed these past years.
Did the coolant.
I'm same guy who drained & flushed my cvt fluid 4 times in a 2 month period.
Dropped pan twice even.
Got around 9000 miles on my long oci towards 18,000-20,000 miles with my motor oil.
My vehicle runs unbelievably smooth ever since the FIRST cvt drain and fill.
I'm light on the pedal.
Only time I slammed on the pedal like a mad man, was when I was using sea foam. So called Italian tune up. Smashed that pedal to the ground like there was no tomorrow.
Slow for a sports car, but pretty peppy for a mom mobile when I floored it actually.
My poor ball bearings in my cvt, hopefully I didn't stress them too much, stupid me.
Anyways, the transfer, diff drain was not too bad.
