do you feel or hear anything else or is it just the click?

does the click repeat over and over or just once as the brakes are applied?

No it will just click once. And it does that once a while. So what is it?

i started getting bump steer only after i but the "under brace" bar in the rear. but only jerks on the rear not the front.

adrian, so your saying tie rods would eliminate bump steer? im not saying your wrong or anything but dont see how that would help.

hope I explain this correctly....

anyways, if you think about it, lowering your car without adjusting your tie rods leaves your stock tie rods at an angle (not to mention excessive strain)... with that, any bump your wheel hits would force the steer in the steering rack or something liek that...

this is probably what your oem tie rods look like... notice the caster angle too

and this is what its supposed to look like (with aftermarket tie rods that is)

btw, I got those pics from SPL for reference..

want good learningz? http://www.sportcompactcarweb.....html

I very well could be a ball joint. When mine were going out on my old nissan, it would jump all over the road when i hit a bump or a ridge in the road. It got worse and i had to stop driving it because it was unpredictable.

Also, the ball joints would pop when they shifted around.

I know exactly what he is talking about. It is in the pedel or pedel assembly that ther is a click. It is audible and sensible (you can hear and feel it).

Mine has done it since day one, and there is nothing mechanically wrong with the breaks. My guess is you would have to take apart the clutch pedel and all assmbling parts, then you might find a lose or broken bolt or crack in some plate.
