I ended up buying this car and thanks to some of your comments I was aware and able to negotiate a better deal. 1990 TT with 69K miles. Stock except for tint, exhaust (Magna Flow) and Wheels (5Zigen). I drove it from Tucson where I bought it to Houston where I live. Over a 1000 miles. Yes you heard me right. I bought a 25 year old car and immediately drove it 1000 miles. Probably not smart but that is how good of shape it was in. Plus I learned a lot about the car in a short amount of time. It does have a few things that need to be fixed but all in all I am thrilled with the purchase and am looking forward to owning it. I am sure I will be posting questions in the tech forum very soon! BTW, I think that buying the car and taking it on a long trip is a good thing...I did as you did when I bought mine, flew down and bought it and drove it home from San Francisco to Tacoma, Washington in one 800 mile drive. I felt that if it was in as good of shape as advertised and which had checked out, then there should be no problems and there were none...plus what better way to get to know your new Lady!
