Well I bought my first Honda, is a 1980 Honda Accord 1.8. All that had to fix was the timing belt and boy was I wrong. So I fix the timing belt thinking that, that would fix my problem, but I found out that those engines are Interference Engines, that one's the timing belt goes, the valves go too. So I decided to fix the valves, head gasket and anything that may be wrong with it, but the problem is that, I been looking crazy trying to find out on how to rebuild the engine on this car and so far no luck. So I was wondering if anybody knew I place where I could find info on rebuilding these engines. I would really appreciated. Thanks.

Here's a KA24 rebuild guide.

I'm sure that doing the piston and installing the bearings and what not are very similar.
For the rest of it, I guess you could look at the Honda service manual? :gotme

Swap heads. It's a Honda. You can swap heads to another OEM head set from a different engine and make moar power. Hondas are like legos, man. You just put stuff together and it magically works.

31 year old car is a horrible idea for a DD. If you want to keep the Honda, DD the 240.

Yea I know. Well is in good condition (body is straight), just one surface rust spot, paint is a little bit faded and interior is in good condition (Good but crackly seats and no saggy headliner) and dash is actually in pretty good condition.

The thing is that is a automatic and to put another newer engine, I will have to do a A LOT of wiring (According to my friend) and that I don't want to do.
