So I've been "window shopping" for maybe 2yrs. I've looked at everything from a Cruze eco to a Jag XK, a diesel VW Toureg to a Cayenne GTS - all used of course. Recently I got a bit more serious and drove a few after narrowing down my list due to strict critera - Good MPG, RWD, Fun, Fit kids. That instantly eliminated a lot of cars.
I narrowed it down to the 135i and G37S. Love the 135i so much when I drove it, I thought of leasing an M235i. But then I took the G37S home overnight for an extended test drive and really liked how plush it was, all the do-hickies in side, and it has a pretty comfy ride without being too soft...plus I can fit in the back as could my kids.

So here are my very few pics of it.
2010 G37S w/45k miles. Has a bumper-to-bumper till the end of 2019 and 100k miles, every package available, and side skirts as the added option. I may buy a factory spoiler for it.

I drove home, changed for the gym, parked away from everyone, and now have a mysterious yellow smudge on my door...

And this car likes premium. So much for trying to find something with good MPG. It'll cost me less to drive my old Explorer...

Wow - She's beautiful!

I really like the G without the spoiler, but that pearl white is my favorite color on that car!

I looked at a few black ones, since my s2000's looked fantastic in black, but that pearl really did it for me. It also has a white and grey interior which I normally would have dismissed, but I like how bright it is inside with the sunroof open.

My friend came with and saw a dark grey G37 IPL. She loved it and was going to give me a few grand to make up the difference in price, but I couldn't do it. That IPL looked fantastic.

Overall, I think it's a pretty good family (think divorced dad) car. It doesn't have a very menacing growl (not that 6 cylinders do), so an axle back exhaust may be needed. CAI's really give the s2k's a throaty sound. Maybe the G will respond the same?

Awesome freaking purchase! Beautiful ride. You're going to love it.

My wife wants me to look at these (basically my Z with a backseat) so we can still have a date car and carry kiddos. I'm not opposed :)

It is really lovely!!! I know you will adore it. I'm with AZ on the spoiler.

I went from a 330xi/6 speed to my M35x/auto and there is a difference. I don't get tired in the M! The ride is better and the seats more comfortable. Need to sell the bimmer! Every day I love the M more. (but want a V8)

Very nice! The G is definitely one of the more popular Infiniti models from those years.

If I needed four seats and was forced into being a quasi-adult (a true adult would probably buy a sedan) this would be my Nissan/Infiniti of choice.

I do have to say though that even though I am a watch fanatic that goofy looking clock on the dash needs to go.

Nicely done. I've had a G35S (2007) for about 6 months now, about 15k miles. Really nice car, obviously it's very similar to the 37.. I average about 24MPG in mine, mixed but mostly highway driving.

I like that it handles extremely well, but is still very smooth and quiet. I wish the leg bolsters weren't quite so narrow (even for someone relatively thin like me), but otherwise I really like it.

I much prefer the light interior - perfect combo!

Have you seen the wheel/tire combo on Matt's (audtatious) G37S?

I have to say that this set of wheels may be the best looking factory wheel that Nissan/Infiniti has ever released.
