How many of you that put in the plenum spacer, disconnected and recirculated the coolant from the throttle body? Does this pose any major gain? I didn't bother to do this, as I saw it to be unnecessary. I think I will need the coolant this winter keeping the TB warm, and not forming ice inside.

Discuss.

I did it to mine...it's a shut-off valve that goes in-line with the coolant hose to the TB. However, its hard to tell if the mod is worth it, but this is a common thing to do for LT1/LS1's. Just don't forget to open it during the winter...though I never did in my 97 formula.
