I just recently picked up some led fog lights on ebay for the Versa and I have no clue how to put them on...I know you have to cut something, but I'm dumfounded- anyone, help?

If you have no clue, I suggest you wait until a factory kit is available. Affixing a universal kit is quite involved. I did it but I had to make custom stainless brackets and cut the holes with a 3 1/8" hole saw. It took a lot of fitting to get them right. The wiring isn't that easy either if you have an "S"

with the factory system. the actually fog covers pop out and you jsut add in the fog lights. now i didnt see any pre-wired setup on the S model. so i dont know if hte SL model has it pre-wired for fog.

Yes, the SL is totally prewired for Fogs. Even the relays and fuses are installed. All you need to have is the actual lamps assemblies and the switchgear.I'm hoping Nissan will release these soon.

R&S Strauss. I Pulled off the covers and matched up the size of the cut out to fog lamp diameter.yeah so i did the install.....had to engineer(hack) the covers with epoxy to get the foglamp to mount and aim properly.looks awsome though!

What was the manufacturer/brand or model for those? And were you able to directly connect them to the existing cables in your car (SL)? Etcetera.

i can't remember what brand they were. I got them off the self at walmart for $21.** and i had to cut out the plastic unfortunately cause mine did not pop out. and there were no wiring harnesses on my car so i just grounded each light and then ran a cable into the cabin and connected it to the dimmer that controls the interior lights so that one i turn on the parking lights the fogs come on automatically. It all in all took me about 2 hours to do just because i took my time cutting the plastic with a soldering iron cause i did not have a dremel and i did not want it to look like crap.

Hello, Great Job on the fog lights!!!!!!!!!! Wish I could hire you to install mine. $300 is too much for OEM fog lights for me. Your's is an H3 XENON halogen 55w lights? What diameter is the lamp, 4"? Do you still remeber what brand? Do you have the lamp screwed into the mount, and lastly is the fog light behind the plastic cover or is protruding? Hey, sorry for all the Q's, but I've been waiting for OEM fog lights just to find out it cost $300. I'll spend $60 at the most and a shop will install it for $50. I'll work on the plastic cover myself. I wast wondering if you any pics of the fog light installed without the plastic cover....thanks for listening and GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if you can just put a switch inline with the input and output from the BCM for fog lights? If so, then I'm not waiting for nissan to make a kit, I'll just put my own lights on and splice in my own switch. It should work the same as the light switch arm.
