this morning i was looking for a funnel so i could put some coolant and ran into this:

...i totally forgot i had these from my last car haha. there are only 3 because one of them cracked when it was crashed into by a girl who ran a red light on her cell phone. so..what do you guys think? i was thinking of maybe buying a 4th one and then putting it on my car until one day i can afford the wheels i actually want. oh and maybe one of you can photoshop them onto a black coupe? oh and do they even fit? i took a pic of the info on the tire because im a dummy about tires and wheels so i dont even know if they would fit or not lol. i think they're 17"s? so yes or no??

Not bad, I would purchase the 4th and then paint them black leaving the chrome lip. If you already have wheels for you Altima now, either use these as a spare or sell. The wheels are still good too.

I might be wrong but they look like they're a 4 lug universal wheel. your coupe is a 5x114

sell them and use that cash towards some wheels that fit your car.

Voodoo's right, that's a 4-lug.Besides, you'd have to get new rubber for them anyway because 205/40R17 is about 2.5" too small in diameter for the AC. With what you'd spend on a fourth rim plus new shoes, only to buy a whole new set in a few months...well, it just doesn't seem worth it. Keep running your stockers for now and sell these puppies on craigslist or something...put that money into some nice 18s or 19s!

depending on how long they have been sitting there the tires may have dryrotted and have to be thrown out. when i first saw the pic i thought u meant someone just left them in your backyard (maybe a thief who gave up or someone scrapin them). IS THAT A FRIDAY THE 13TH MACHETE KNIFE ON TOP OF THE TIRES IN THE FIRST PIC?

okay so they dont fit.. um yes thats a machete haha i dont know why it was on top of the tires. i was thinking about selling them but who would want to buy only three wheels? and if i do end up selling them how much you do think they would go for? i have no idea how much they were when they were brand new because i bought the car off of my cousin. and whats dry rotted? they've probably been sitting there for about a year and a half :/

Nice find but please but its a good thing they don't fit...they're ugly rims.

Dry Rot is when the molecular compound of the tire starts to break down. In fact, there is "shelf life" on these tires and Doc posted a really informative documentary about it. Might behoove you to search for it. You'll know if that tire is dry rotted because as soon as the weight of the car is on the tire, you'll see a whole bunch of cracks on the side wall. Not a good thing to see especially if you're running down the highway and the dang tire blows out

yup, the wheels are 4 lug and will not fit a altima and are pretty nasty lookin' anyway. You won't be able to sell a 3 piece, but could recycle them and get about 10 to 20 bucks for the aluminum

The wheels are Arceo Suzukastar II. For that size, they came in 17x7.5 +42.

Cheap wheels always move on CL, regardless of how ugly they are. New they are probably around $75/wheel. Try listing all 3 for $120-140 then progressively lower the price every few weeks til they sell.

08 - Good guess on the recycling of aluminum. The going rate is about .30lb. That is for impure aluminum. So Lol would get sum where around 20 bucks for them. Maybe a little more.

Lol - try selling them first, good luck
