I got the gauges/buttons out already, the mold is my problem.I tried moving it side to side; for example like you would with a steering wheel and i've already broken something ( measly plastic piece )

Remove the 2 12mm bolts that support the steering collumn. They're directly underneath the gauge bezzel, kind of hidden. You'll have to remove the lower plastic piece beloe the column to get at 'en.

You can kind of see one of them in your first picture just left of the column (the white piece to the right of the left vent)

Thanks, 94. I'm at work, so no access to my picture archives or screen capping service manuals

No, prob!!

You don't have to remove steering column top/bottom covers to access those bolts. You can leave them on. I know it cuz I removed my cluster yesterday.

It's good that you didn't force it to remove it. If something doesn't work, come to Nico and ask. You get answers most of the time.
