All I got done to my car is exhaust an so far ive killed 3 turbos, even tho they were a Golf, Jetta, Rabbit I still beat ppl with turbos. Sound like a waste of money to me if a pretty much stock KA can beat your brand new VW with turbo :)

Impressive. Ive beat lots of things in my 240 but none of them had a turbo. at least as far as i know. If you live where i do though, if it has a turbo and its not a brand new jetta, you dont want to f#%k with it. youl get burned. My roomate has a v6 firebird turbo putting 280hp and 320ftlb to the ground in a 3.8L with a T3/T4 turbo. Its custom job obviously but there are other turbo cars arround with some impressive stats.

I never said it was fast, so why are you tellin me its slow? I know its slow. But for what it is its pretty quick. Im not goin around tryin to race vettes an sh*t. I stick to cars that are close in comparison.

One of the greatest feelings is beating a car that cost waaaaaay more than yours. I felt the same way when my stock z beat a s2000 right after i got it - he spent like 13 times as much as I did and had his *** handed to him - i'd want my money back if i owned one of those VWs :-P

i don't know about that much, vw's are pretty sweet. maybe not the fastest but i like um. a guy down the street from me has the badest *** jetta i have ever seen. giant cross drilled and slotted rotors, the best sounding exhaust i've heard in a while, the wide body body kit and wide body rims, it's a vr6 but it sounds turbo as well, and it is completely tubed except for two spearco seats. that thing looks like a good time.

hahaha fu(k yeah, it should say the Anti-Rice on top and have the Honda logo crossed out in one of those circles, like the ones that say "no smoking"

yea the b16 is pretty close because they have like 15-20 hp on the engine but less tq. most honda drivers launch real high to aviod that.. 240's would have a hard time stock verse a b16 stock.. but also a b16 is a much more pricey engine so aint no thing

Ineedmoney, actually b16's in a hatch is fast not slow. There are many around here and they are fast no doubt. My friend also has a b16 in his crx and that thing can run low 15's being a not as great of a driver he is now. Also when i went to the tracks i talked to 3 other people with b16 and b18 swaps in their hatches and they all hit 14.7-15.1 with just intake and exhaust.

Yea Ive learned not to even bother with hatchs because 90 percent of the time under the hood of there primered half wrecked crx or hatch is a b16 or b18. Those hatchs are very underestimated, I totally respect them now though.

There are so many vehicles around where I live that fit into that category. That and early 90's Integra's and Civic's with just primered front ends. I think the local Asian guys have scams going with the insurance companies. On three seperate occassions, I've driven by parked Integra's that look like they got backed into by a big car or truck, but just hard enough to bend up the hood. Then going by those same cars like a month later, they have primered front fenders and a new hood. It's almost like some fools thought, "I'll have my friend wreck my car, then take the cash to pay for an engine swap."

I don't even race those kind of cars. Not because I'm all that worried about losing. I'm more worried that the fools will figure out what I have under the hood, and then figure out where I live.

That is the idea behind insurance fraud isnt it? Cash for an engine swap? I thought so.
