Well after dyno'ing the car on E85 I was pretty excited to get out to the drag strip, so I headed out friday afternoon to get some runs in.

All in all it was a fun evening. I started off with a shakdown pass (just rolling out of the hole) with a 12.0 @ 122. Next pass I set the 2-step up and went 11.4@125.

I took a little tire pressure out and went for the left lane this time. The car got out of the whole amazing...1.5 60ft...especially considering I was on ET Street Radials all night which are my street tires. Midway through the pass I shifted from 3rd to 2nd, causing the car to see about 9300 rpms (according to the logs) Heres the vid...you can hear the tires trying to lock up. Sadly if I hadnt missed that shift, it *would* have been a 10 sec pass.....

After shaking off the nerves I got back on the track and gave it another go....Not as great of a 60ft this time but she clicked off an 11.2@124

I made several more passes through the night. My two best times were an 11.23 and an 11.29

Around 1AM they called the 'fastest' imports and domestics up for the 'fastest car challenge' I had to go up against an SR20 powered S13, and an S2000. I believe the 240 was trapping 107 and the S2000 was around 98 or so. I beat both out in eliminations and took home a neat trophy and 100 bucks....

I hope to have the turbo issues ironed out soon so I can see a little more boost/power out of it. I'd love to get some 10's out of this setup.....

Peace

congrats!!! with a bit more practice you should get that high 10's easily, if you want to get it easily, get a pair of slicks, you're guaranteed!!!!!

I was there to see this crazy car. First time I seen a RB26 or in that matter a RB. I didn't think things like this beast existed in the midwest. But his car and his friends RB25 powered 240sx inspired me.I can't believe they put cars like this up against stock honda civics.

Also that SR powered white 240sx was a stock SR. At least it was the whole time Dan owned it. I beleive Dustin or Justin, one of the 2 bought it and kept it pretty much the same.

RBs are alot more popular the last 3-4 years, don't be surprise to see some 240's with them.

With the weight of the S13 i'd assume all you would need is probably 450~rwhp

What size ET Street (Radial) are you using? I would KILL for a 1.55 60'.

Awesome launch man. A clean run, or a little more boost and your in the 10s.

Also what does your car weigh now?
