SO CLOSE!!!

hey guys... i just got a ca18det and swapped it into my s13 and i am so close to getting it to run but its not getting any fuel, so far iv figured out that the pump is workin and i dont think my injectors are getting any signal to fire... any ideas? i followed the instructions to wiring up an sr20det. also i know its fuel bc the engine starts and runs for like 5 seconds on starter fluid and i know its not the pump because i can turn the car on without the fuel line attached and it pours gas out. also when the car is running on starter fluid my tach doesnt give me a reading could this be related? i know injector signals get their signals in the form of engine speed. thanks for any help in advanced.

if i remember right the cam position sensor is what gives the injectors the signal to open. that sounds possibly like your problem

Are you sure that you have you CAS installed in the correct position ???

yeah it came installed... i talked to my boss at work(i work at a shop) and he said i could possible just run a new b+ cable to the injectors bc im pretty sure theyre getting signal from the ecu which grounds it but i dont have any b+

edit: thanks for the help guys, i just ran new wires from my ecu and from a switched ignition to the injectors and voila, it started right up lol
