Yep. That's the one. Some very interesting cars show up there. The Donut shop has a really good ham and cheese crossiant as well. But damn it starts early...yzarcur wrote:The group I was speaking of go to a shop on Adams and Brookhurst or Magnolia. Near Zubies.
Mmm... ham and cheeeeze....C-Kwik wrote: The Donut shop has a really good ham and cheese crossiant as well.
all i can say is make sure you plan it good... last minute ones or ones that give like a 1 week notice are never good turnouts. for example like if i say lets have a meet next week, like 2 people will show up as opposed to like lets have it next month, ykno?yzarcur wrote:Give some ideas, I am open to anything that sounds good.
thats cool... just becareful of gaining attention of the police (esp. since its in socal), cops arent too fond of modified cars doing a cruiseyzarcur wrote:I agree, but the more you have the bigger they will become. We could do a once a month or something that becomes a given. But the first should really be planned in advance, that I agree.
My bro goes to G meets all the time. Maybe you can come with us next time.adrians_s13 wrote:wait... you mean like a cruise or something? s-chassis allowed? probably not huh... i'd like to look at some g's
Its different places most of the time. Most of the time its a little social get together. On Sunday we went to this shabu shabu place in Irvine and went to Green Girls after for a couple hours (like 4) to drink and stare at girls serving drinks in bikinis.yzarcur wrote:Sure, if everyone is cool with that. But I was thinking of a Nicoclub gig, all Nissan's and Infiniti's. Where does he drive to and when?
This site is much more mechanical minded as opposed to the ones I mentioned. Those sites are just a bunch of people who drive the same cars and get together to talk about pretty much anything. They are more social minded. I sometimes read their threads and find it interesting how little most of those people actually know about cars. I guess there is nothing wrong with a little of both worlds.yzarcur wrote:I used to work with a guy who is a member of g35.com his name is Sage. I was signed up for the site but found this site better suited for me.
All of this sounds good to me. I'd be down for a meet once a month!adrians_s13 wrote:i remember last year, a bunch of 240s did a huge meet in san fransisco... they met up in socal, had a lil mini meet, then drove up to san fransisco using the scenic route... that would be pretty cool if you set something like that up... but make it huge, all nissans.
My bro is going to a track day with his g35 buddies this friday at http://www.lacr.net/. If you guys want to join, you guys are more than welcome.yzarcur wrote:That is why I was kind of thinking of the beach, something that is easy to get to and if we find a beach in the middle we all could meet. Even if we do one month at one beach doesn't mean we can't do it at another beach another month. This IS California the beach is open all year
