Haha, you guys are funny. This is where I did that post - I swear I made an autox one - I updated one on Cali Regional. *Sorry everyone for my double post - posted on cali regional that event opened a couple spots for Saturday.
Ok, normally, for things like Saturday Practices, you have to pre-register, limited to usually 60-80 ppl. You sign onto the message boards, wait til they say "flyer is up" or when you see the event flyer change on the site... send in your check & hope you get in - they post who gets in on the mailing list/forum they have on solo2.com.
Yesterday, we were informed on solo2.com that some members dropped out of the practice, so there are a few spots open. If you hurry like no one's business, you might have a chance of getting into the Saturday practice.
The Sunday events are usually championships (just means that they count). Lots more ppl - 200-300+. 3 runs each. Basically no # cap, so everyone gets in. Fun Runs @ the end of the day most of the time (anywhere between 3-11 extra runs, $1 a run usually - makes it worth as much or more than the practice).
As long as you show up for the morning or afternoon (morning if you aren't sure) depending on which class you run - there's a nice autox sticky on zilvia (hate to admit this, but zilvia has a much more active autox/drifting sub-forum than nico) about what mods put what 240's where... or you can check on scca.org for official handbook.
So yea, mail in a check today, drop it off @ the post office if you can. You MIGHT get in. Register for solo2.com forum so you can stay on top of things over there.
