Ya....sorry guys....but this club is limited to 240's only...i am trying to make it big. As of now, we have a couple sponsors. We will have weekly meets as well as gatherings and maybe canyon runs. My previous team was quite large and well known club.

What does "willing to contribute to the team" mean?

I have been in clubs before (was not the most positive experience)...All I saw was a bunch of ricers standing around in Wal-Mart parking lots. How will you guys differ?

I live in the 909 so, I would be willing to come and at least hang out, even if I do not join...whats up on that?

He referred to them as "area"s not cities. I might be able to come to a few meets, but not weekly.

Loveless, what do you mean by join and risk gettin your car stolen? you can get your car stolen wherever you park it. joining a team doens't mean you will get your car stolen.

CONTRIBUTING TO THE TEAM:-Helping the team maintain a "clean" image. aka. NO street racing or doing things while together in public. If we keep our image clean then the public will look at us as NOT ricers and are in it for the motorsports.-Expand and tell the leaders about potential members.-Try to find new sponsors and meet new people.

VISIONS:-you DO NOT have to be 100% sure about what you want your car to be, but i would like to you to have a good idea. How do you want your car set up? Do you want a streetable daily driver while still able to go to the track and be performing well?

MEETS:-You do not have to attend the weekly meets, they are not mandatory, but from previous teams, the meets were scattered and very seldom so i would like to start the routine early. Meets every week and a big event every month.

Please no more bashing. Only sensible questions. If i have not answered your questions then please PM me. I am trying to start a well known SoCal 240sx Club, and it has the potential to become very successful. I just need the right members.

i know a guy who was in a car club. he then later left the club because he didnt like what the stood for, but still kept the team sticker on (very small). a few months later, a rival team or something, or a club who didnt like my friends club, messed up his car... so he was targetted (he still had the sticker on). they cut through the bumper, cut off the alarm, and stole a grip of stuff ie racing gear :(.

BUT, since you say you want to keep this club as a clean image, i see no problem with that.

Car clubs are pointless unless they have something to offer.. Like sponsorship.. sponsored shows... etc....

I could totally see that happening wangless. I don't even put like a Go Lakers sticker on my car because thats just one more reason for someone to key/slash/hack my car just because they may not like the Lakers. Same could go for any other sticker for that matter. People, as a whole, are idiots.

And as for the club, I would also like to know the sponsors.

Someone in the LA area should start up a 240sx group, we could wear a specific color to identify each other. And if someone wants to join, they'll have to be initiated in or complete some kind of initiation. Then we can beat other groups.

JUST KIDDING! good luck with your group.

Cheez, IM me so we can talk a lil bit more and your in. Same for wangless. If you have a problem putting a very small sitcker on the side window then dont. You can still be in the club and come to our meets, i never said it was MANDATORY that you put our sticker on your car. As far as sponsorwise, so far we have http://www.silentrage.net , we might get Megan Racing if we have enough members, Auto RnD , and also Import Adrenelin.

You act like its somthing out of biker boys.... Im the biker boyz in yellow bro... dude... nobody .. I mean nobody.. driving down the street will say.. wow those guys are awesome.. cause you wont be that famous unless you literally have hundreds of people.. we are a 1 to 90234784 ratio in the car community. and your club.. compared to the other people seen driving around per day with stcikers, and stuff on their car maybe 6 or 7 to 9023842579234572394 (Not including Honda Owners HAHA JK...) I know your psyched about this.. but be serious.. people will be their own people.. you guys wont be respected like biker boyz or the people in fast and the furious.. because lets face it... nobody is or wants to be vin diesel IRL...

I wish people would stop taking movies seriously!

It would be sooo good if we could get every NICO member with a car to meet in one place. If you want respect start up something like this site. Or get an actual show/race/drift/auto x team together. Then enter as many events as you can. That way you will be recognized. I know there is a whole bunch more things you can do to get recognized and that this can and will take a lot of $$$, but its what ya gotta do.

Yeah, coming to meets and cruising around pretty much covers what I consider contributions at the moment.
