the state trooper pulled me over cause he couldnt see into my car now my tint is not that dark but your not allowed to have it and i think thats bulls*** because i know so many people that have tint on there cars and they dont get any trouble for it so i kinda think the cop was just hating cause my car looks better than whatever he drives lol

In PA they basically leave it up to the officer. Some go by if they can't see through it they'll get you for it. I have 15% and never had any problems but i have friends that have 35% and they have gotten tickets.

By the way-- I go to the weekly Tuesday meets in Oaks, PA (only 30 min from Coatsville). You guys should make it out and meet up sometime. I'm there practically every Tuesday night.

Yeah unfortunately PA laws regarding tints is BS. I had 20% on my two side windows and was ticketed. However, read the codes correctly. Some State Cops like to tell you only part of the law. You can have tints in the back window, hell you can cover it all up with stickers. But as for the front, nothing should obstruct the view of the driver of on coming intersections or any opaque stickers BELOW the AS1 line. So if you had a windshield banner and it didn't go past the AS1 line, you're good to go. However in regards to the tints. My advice is to get them legally tinted, I have 5% in the back window and 35% on the side and wing windows. Pa State Law says that the tint has to trasmit 30% of light transmission through the tint itself.
